Why do I need Jesus?

1.  I am a sinner, and separated from God by sin.

 "everyone has sinned and is far away from God's saving presence."

Romans 3:23

2.  God gave His Son, Jesus, over to death, as a final atonement for my sins.

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly."

Romans 5:6 

3.  Through Jesus, I can be reconciled to God.

 "But that is not all; we rejoice because of what God has done through our Lord Jesus Christ, who has now made us God's friends."

Romans 5:11

4.  I obtain this reconciliation by accepting what Jesus did for me on the cross...

and confessing Jesus is Lord out loud...

and believing God raised Jesus from the dead.

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Romans 10:9

5.  I cannot come to God unless He draws me...

and the fact that I am here reading this is proof that He is drawing me.

"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day."

John 6:44

 

Are you a believer?  Do you desire to be reconciled to God?

If so, pray the following prayer and know that I stand in agreement with you before our Father in Heaven:

"Father in Heaven, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob...I stand before you now, with the desire of reconciliation in my heart. Jesus Christ is Lord, and I ask Jesus to come into my heart right now, and be my Lord and Savior.  To the best of my ability, I believe You raised Jesus from the dead.  Father, I commit myself to you, I commit myself to Jesus, and I ask you to mold me into the person that YOU desire me to be.   In Jesus' Name, I pray...Amen" Welcome to the Kingdom of God! You now have a wonderful journey before you, and much to learn.  Remember two very important things:A.  Pray often.  God loves to hear from you!B.  Read your bible.  This is how you will come to know God. God bless you!  

Jesus is my Lord, and He can be yours too!

If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved.
For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we are saved.
The scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed."

Romans 10:9-11

It really is that simple!

Speak the following prayer, out loud, right now:

"Hi God, it's me, (insert your name here)...

I confess that Jesus is Lord....

I ask You to make me a believer...

A believer in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead...

Thank you.  Amen."

Now, you can TRUST that God heard you...

and KNOW that He will make you a believer.

Oh! God is soooo faithful, and He loves you more than you know. :)
